Marie-Josée de Saint Robert, Chief of the Languages Services Department at the United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG), will talk about the research and validation of technical terminology at the United Nations.

Manuel de Oliveira Barata, Head of the Portuguese Language Department at the Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission, will be one of the Keynote Speakers at our Conference.

Jody Byrne, Technical Translator and Teacher of Translation, Localisation and Translation Technologies at the University of Sheffield (UK), will be one of the Keynote Speakers at our Conference. Jody will also conduct a translation workshop.

Renato Beninatto, CEO and Chief Instigator at Milengo, will be one of the Keynote Speakers at our Conference. He will talk about the gerontology of the Translation Industry...

Yves Champollion, author and CEO of Wordfast will conduct 2 advanced workshops on Wordfast.

The Conference

Two full days of practical learning sessions – translation and terminology workshops (in English, French and Portuguese) – for the professional translator and interpreter of technical, engineering, scientific, and industrial materials delivered by engineers and technicians with extensive experience in translation, and by professional translators and interpreters and other leading experts in their field.

Conference Program

A full 2-day Program with 26 educational sessions (practical workshops, expert presentations and professional development discussions and 2 advanced Wordfast sessions), a Technical Visit to the Portuguese National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC), and an attendance of about 200 people from various countries.

Job Marketplace and Network Opportunities

Conference Accreditation
